Seasonal Cheer Genuine Heart
Today I was out on an unplanned shopping errand, Christmas Eve, with my grandson L’Isaiah (You see, I like to stay in on that day while everybody else shop). He was very patient as I made my choices throughout the store. Finally, it was time to check out and be on our merry way. The line was long but it was quiet an inspiring wait as I listened to the laughter around us. L’Isaiah was invited in the conversation and laughter of three beautiful sisters, enchanting I thought. Charming, delightful, captivating...but they had something special about them call "genuine."
They certainly captured LIsaiah's heart, as we walked out of the store I asked him “did you like the ladies?” and he said, “yes!” With a big smile. I thought, they were special too. I asked him, “would you like to do something special?” He said, "yes I want to do that" so we did something we thought was special and departed with greeting and hope that we would met again; it’s our prayer that they would be blessed with L’Isaiah's gift to them as we were blessed to hear their (not just some holiday or seasonal cheer) but genuine laughter and love among sisters. Sometimes, God will touch your heart to do something and you may never know why, so do it. That unplanned shopping errand certainly was a special highlight for us and a reminder of God's love even in a child. There were three sisters present but L’Isaiah said, mama it is four of them, one of them is in Texas, can we do something for her too, of course I said, wow, thank you Lord for that wonderful experience.
Thank you, sisters.
