New Year! Great Expectation!
We are in it! 2010 arrived on time! Just as we anticipate the birth of a deeply desired new born baby, we all anticipate each New Year; with all its glitter and horns we celebrated around the world.
As each New Year comes there is
great expectancy many have for their individual lives, for some it may be just
another day, because they have no hope. There is a move of God in
the earth that the Body of Christ needs to be focused on; it is well worth
the expectancy and comes with a greater celebration, one that you could never
imagine, for us the Body of Christ. The ones that have said yes to Jesus and
invited Him in to reside and be Lord of their lives.
Do you know as we count down the New Year's clock that we’re also counting down to the return of Christ?
So what do you need to be doing?
1. Examine your life, have you accepted Jesus as Savior and made Him Lord?
If your answer is yes, good.
If your answer is no or yes but,
then here's your need.
Repent (Romans 10:9-10 or 1John 9) How good is Our God to us such the opportunity in each day to be righteous in Christ Jesus.
This is a time of urgency! Don’t be left behind. No more rejecting truth, there no life without Him, eternal life will be hell without Jesus now. If you are caught in the time after the rapture, the only truth then is this truth we are speaking now, God’s word is the only truth even then. In the time of tribulation the one thing to reject is the anti-Christ; and never no matter what take the mark of the beast as spoken of in Revelations.
Read
these scriptures:
Luke 13: 22Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as
he made his way to Jerusalem. 23Someone asked him, "Lord, are
only a few people going to be saved?"
He said to them, 24"Make
every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will
try to enter and will not be able to. 25Once the owner of the house
gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading,
'Sir, open the door for us.'
"But he will answer, 'I don't know you
or where you come from.'
26"Then you will say, 'We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.'
27"But he will reply, 'I don't know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evil doers!'
28"There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. 29People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God. 30Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last."
2. Once you have assured your position in Christ begin now (each day), as if you do not have another, in the sense of loving others and doing the best towards others as God does for you.
Woe, this is life in a nutshell, if we have not love we have nothing and if we love God with all our heart, soul, and mind and are destined to do His will, then; we will please our Father and surely win others that are lost in these last days.
Q. Now, what should you be about doing?
A. Make all that He has called you to do to reconcile
others to Him, a mission in life.
The Great Expectation! Let's Step in! Let's do great exploits! Let's win big!
3,2,1 NOW! Father in the name of Jesus, I come to you asking forgiveness of sin, right now I believe Jesus is the Son of God, He died on the cross for me, buried, and was raise from the dead giving His life me. I ask you Jesus, come into my heart, I except you as Savior and ask you to be Lord of my life now and forever more. Thank you Lord! I am saved!
