The streets of my hometown are under construction. Some of the roads as few as there is blocked off. "Oh! how inconvenient!" That may be the thought that comes to mind to you that live there especially when you need to drive that direction or to a convenient parking to Sherri's Bakery. This construction is not suited for your comfort, purpose, or need at the given moment. Well, inconveniences come with life at some time or the other. How we deal with them is where it counts. What will be the outcome of all this construction? In life, we have things in ourselves that God will put his finger on that needs to undergo construction and whew don't we feel the inconvenience of change? Well just like the streets in my hometown, they are undergoing some necessary construction that will be for future benefits. Let the workers smooth over the ruff areas so the vision can come forth. While going through the changes, don't complain, look for a positive, a good, but just don't thrive on the negatives and inconveniences. In your personal life let God by His Spirit help you clean and smooth out the ruff so his vision of you can come into full view. When you walk down those newly constructed street, something else will be new. You! Seen from the inside out! Look forward to seeing you on the streets of my hometown.
